I'm stepping up against cancer!

I’m taking on Relay For Life again in 2025.  I have personally been through two cancer journeys and my husband had a rare cancer.  I also have family and friends who have been through a cancer journey.  

Cancer can be a devastating disease for so many with treatments often long and relentless. I want to help as many others impacted by cancer as possible by participating and seeking support from you. Together, we can support families when they need it most, empower people to reduce their risk, speak up for communities, and find new ways to better detect and treat cancer.

In 2025, sadly, I will be walking in memory of my husband of almost 30 years as he passed away three months after the 2024 Relay for Life.   

 Please donate to my Relay today and together, we can help the Cancer Council provide life-changing support services, advocacy, prevention and research across Australia.

Hi everyone,
Thank you so much for the many generous donations.  I can't believe it, with your kind and generous donations I have now reached the second goal I set, but didn't put in writing.  I have been so blessed with the support given by everyone.  I will remember you all as I take each step during Relay and thank God for your love, friendship and generosity.

My goal

Thank you to the many who helped me reach my goal and now going over and above.  In my mind, I am now setting myself a new fundraising goal - if I reach it, that's fantastic, but even if I don't reach my new (unprinted) fundraising goal, I will still be reaching a different goal - to help funds which support families who sadly are or may in the future, need the support of the Cancer Council.    A really big thank you and sending blessings to everyone, no matter how you supported - financially, encouragement or prayer.
